Terms of Use

Agreement

By using the Made in Marshall website at madeinmarshall.life, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. For questions, contact info@madeinmarshall.com.

What this site is for

Made in Marshall is a visitor and local guide to Marshall County, Tennessee — including shops, dining, things to do, places to stay, events, and an interactive map. Content is provided for general informational purposes. The site does not sell tickets, take payments, or create user accounts.

Directory, map, weather, and third-party links

Business listings, hours, contact details, prices, and map stops may change without notice. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that every listing is complete or current. Map routes and driving directions are estimates from Mapbox and are not a substitute for posted signs, road conditions, or your own judgment.

The weather badge shows conditions for the Lewisburg area, not your exact location. Links to third-party websites, maps, booking tools, or social platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Maps) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Embedded video

The homepage may play a Made in Marshall theme-song video through YouTube. YouTube’s terms and privacy practices apply when that player loads. Use of the player is optional.

Submissions through Google Forms

If you submit an event, request a business listing, or ask us to update an existing listing through our Google Forms, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Google collects those answers as described in our Privacy Policy. We may edit, decline, delay, or remove submissions at our discretion.

Newsletter

Signing up for our newsletter means you consent to receive email updates about Marshall County events and Made in Marshall news, subject to our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the instructions in our emails or by contacting info@madeinmarshall.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse forms or the site (including automated scraping, spam signups, or flooding submissions)
• Attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the site or related services
• Use the site in any way that violates applicable law

Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original content belong to Made in Marshall or its licensors. Some images are sourced from third parties; see the footer attribution note for ownership and removal requests. You may not copy or reuse site materials for commercial purposes without permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Made in Marshall disclaims warranties of accuracy, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, listings, maps, weather information, video, or linked third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Tennessee or other applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
